·        INDIA'S First biennale, the kochi- muziris biennale Will make it”s debut on 12/12/12.it will be the country”s largest contemporary art event which will trasform Kochi into a cultural and artistic hub.

·        The Word ‘biennale’ is itslian and means biennale that is ‘every other year’ in English.

·        The first biennale was the venice biennale which began in 1895.

·        Sao Paul Biennial in Brazil, Which began in 1951.
